Rabbi Samuel Ohana

The Beth Din of California, headed by Rabbi Samuel Ohana, offers Marriage, Divorce, and Orthodox Conversion services. 

Rabbi Ohana has been serving the Los Angeles community for over 40 years. He received his Rabbinical Ordination (Semicha) from the Chief Rabbi of Israel. He has been an educator and Rabbi of his synagogue during this time.

Concerning Orthodox conversion to Judaism, there are only certain Rabbis in California recognized by the Rabbinate of Israel to perform conversions. This will have an impact on those converts who are planning on either getting married in Israel or moving to Israel. Rabbi Ohana has been officially recognized by the Rabbinate to perform conversions to Judaism.
